Coverage
Your iris, coveredThe lens sits over the coloured part of your eye and covers it completely. The white of your eye stays white, the same as an ordinary contact lens. To cover the whole eye, white and all, that is the 22mm full sclera.
Vision
NormalThe pupil is clear, so you see exactly as you would in a regular contact lens. Side vision is unaffected. Take them out if an eye feels dry or gritty.
Comfort and first wear
Like a normal lensThese go in like ordinary contacts, so most people forget they are in. If you have never worn lenses, put them in for an hour at home first rather than on the night. Eight hours is the daily limit.

Putting a lens in, if it is your first time
These go in like any ordinary contact lens. Most people get it on the second or third try. Practise the day before the event, not on the night. Printed instructions come in the box.
Wash and dry your hands
Soap, rinse, and a lint-free towel. Open the vial and tip the lens into your palm with a little fresh solution.
Check it is a bowl, not a saucer
Sit the lens on your fingertip. Edges curving up means it is the right way round. Edges flaring out means flip it.
Look up, place, blink slowly
Hold your top and bottom lids open, look up, set the lens on your eye and let go. Close your eye and roll it gently to settle it.

Before you buy
Will these cover my own eye colour?
Yes. These are opaque, not a tint, so they work over dark brown eyes as well as light ones. Your natural colour does not show through.
Are they hard to put in?
No harder than an ordinary contact lens, because they are the same size as one. If you have never worn lenses before, practise the day before your event rather than on the night.
Do I need a prescription?
No. These are plano, meaning zero power, so they change the look only. We do not sell powered lenses, so if you need vision correction they will not replace your regular contacts.
How long can I wear them in a day?
Up to 8 hours. Take them out before sleep every time, whatever wear length you bought. If an eye goes red or sore, take the lens out and leave it out.
What is the difference between 1 Month and 1 Year?
The lens is the same. The wear length is how long the pair stays safe to use after you open the vial, with cleaning and proper storage. A 1 Year pair works out to about 15 cents a day worn daily.
Will they arrive before Halloween?
Yes if you order by Tuesday 20 October, by any shipping method. From then until 1pm on Monday 26 October, choose Express. After that, Click and Collect from our Melbourne warehouse is the safe option. We dispatch from Melbourne, same day on weekday orders.
Does it come with a case and solution?
